NORTH BAY HONOR FLIGHT

North Bay Honor Flight dedicates our efforts to honoring and giving back to our nation's heroes.  Our mission is to provide a heartfelt and long-overdue "welcome home" to our veterans who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, ensuring their sacrifices and bravery are never forgotten.

Our Mission
At North Bay Honor Flight we aim to give back to those who have sacrificed so much.  We believe every veteran deserves a hero's welcome, especially those who served during some of the most challenging times in our nation's history.  We're part of the National Honor Flight Network.  This non-profit organization, founded in 2005, maintains a simple yet powerful goal: to fly World War II, Korean, and Vietnam Veterans to Washington, D.C. in order for them to visit their military service war memorial and other significant monuments in the city.

This initiative was born in 2005 when a compassionate physician's assistant realized that many of his World War II Veteran patients were not excited about visiting the newly built World War II memorial. Determined to change this,  Earl Morse and his friends took it upon themselves to fly a few Veterans to the memorial, sparking the creation of the Honor Flight Network.  This great effort has grown in the years since, uniting communities and bridging generations.

We're proud to be a part of this inspiring mission.  To that end North Bay Honor Flight Chapter has scheduled its Mission One: Inaugural Flight April 28-30, 2025 for our local Veterans from Sonoma and the surrounding seven counties.  But we can't do it without YOU.
